Spirituality as I See It

Allow me to begin that I believe that Spirituality is all there is for there is not a Spot where Spirit is not.To me Spirit is everything we can see, smell, touch, sense or even imagine. Every bird, animal, leaf, fish, sea creature, rock, mountain, pebble, grain of sand is Spirit. I could very easily sit down right here and now, and say that is Spirituality as I see it and looking in the audience I see a few that have heard me speak and probably do wish I would sit down now. But sorry, no such luck.To me and let me say these are my opinions or what I have received as my Truths for I am actually just beginning to learn Spiritualism as it is taught and Believed by the Spiritualist Church.I mentioned a word a few minutes ago, that word being TRUTH. As far as I am concerned there is no such thing as TRUTH or the TRUTH. Now before you pull out the hangman’s noose allow me to explain what I mean. And as many people do I too will use the Christian Bible to show what I mean.I think and believe that there is no such thing as Truth now how can I say that. Remember from our History books how the Truth use to be that the World was flat and if
Sailors went too far out they would fall off the edge. Thank goodness Columbus never believed that. Also about the same time it was thought that the Earth was the center of the Universe which has also been proven wrong for you see I am the center of the Universe. Although in my world I am as you should be in your world. But Truly we all know now that the earth is round as Columbus proved. But back to TRUTH what do I mean by saying there is no such thing as truth? What I mean is that I belief the only thing there is, is belief and perception. Whatever we believe and perceive to be true is true…to us. It may not be true to anyone else just as Columbus was one of the few that believed the world to be round or Galileo believed the Sun to be the center of the Universe. In fact many of his most famous discoveries came after his arrest and imprisonment by the Church. If I am not mistaken and I must admit my memory is hazy on this he was in prison by the Church until his death.How can I say there is no Truth only belief and perception well, in Proverbs 23:7 it says’ “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Then again in Mathew 8:13 it says “And Jesus said unto the Centurion, Go thou way and as thou hast believed, so be it unto you.Also with in Mark 11:23 and 24 it says 23. ”For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.24. “Therefore I say unto you what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that thou receive them, and ye shall have them.”Let me tell you as I was writing those I got so excited I remember when I first heard them and first preached them in a sermon I got so excited I danced around the podium in the Spirit.And today let me tell you as I sat writing those words it was all I could do to stay in my chair and keep typing for I wanted to stand up and have an old fashioned Revival and let me tell you something here today as I stand before you there are those among us myself included that could use an old fashion revival but not to save us from our sins but to save us from ourselves and our unbelief of how great we are and can be.Let me tell you today that no matter what your belief about yourself and you may be the cockiest S. O. B. on the walk… let me tell you what ever you may think of yourself…f little or great or great… is only the tip of the ice berg for you my friend are the most wonderful, fantastic being on the face of the Earth and that makes me want to just dance around this podium with the good news that today whatever you want out of life is yours to have and hold and become if only you can believe and then go do it.This message my friends is for me most of all for I have learned that whenever I stand before others after standing aside and letting Spirit speak through me as I did when I set down to write this talk that Spirit is SPEAKING TO ME and allowing others to listen in. As I was proofing this after writing it Goosebumps just ran up and down me as I wrote so That to me is Spirit giving two thumbs up to this talk.Yes my friends the only TRUTH I believe Let me make that clear, very, very clear that this is my belief, so do with it what you will, and that is that the only TRUTH is that which each person believes and perceives for themselves and if your beliefs have been given to you by someone else throw them out and get your own truths. Beliefs and perceptions. Maybe you hear something and it rings true to you, think about it as you try it out and if it works make it part of your own code of beliefs. Never ever no matter who it is speaking to you me or anyone else ever leave your brain at home are at the front door as you come in.I personally am an eclectic person. My code comes from many places, Christian. Pagan, Mystical, magical, science, yes even fantasy if you will for one person’s fantasy is another person’s religion.Yes to me Spirit is everything. It isn’t just on Sunday a few days a week or month. To me it is a lifestyle, a way of being. I find now I can live no other way and this is my TRUTH.Thank you all for allowing me to be here today.
