China thirteen hours to get here with only a fuel layover in Japan.  Now I can say I have been in Japan although like my time in Paris in 1964 I never got out of the airport.  Unlike Paris we did.t blow any tires on landing.  Here I am on the Great Wall outside of Beijing now where in the world is the rest of my party, Louisa where are you?

Don't even think o asking me where I am here for we saw 84 Temples in 28 days in at least thirty diferent cities, villages and locales.  This only one of many and very impressive it is too.

Outside the Beijing entrance to the great wall.  See all of the great little shops.  I bought seven four inch crystal balls which I brought back with me.  Gee, were my bags heavy or what?

China was an experience I shall never forget for I saw a giant in the process of being reborn.  Every where I looked were huge construction cranes as they were being used to build not just buildings but entire Cities.  We traveled on the Yangsee River for several days five I think seeing where the awesome dam was being built as we went on the detour around it seeing the hundreds of villiages that were being moved because their old homes were to be flooded shortly after our visit.  Flying over empty plains we saw new CITIES being built.  They are building a country while we can't even get our our cities updated.
