In what is seen as a huge stride in Interfaith, Circle Sanctuary priestess Angie Buchanan has been elected
to a three-year term as Secretary to the Council of the Parliament of the World’s Religions, one of the world’s
oldest and most prominent interfaith organizations. She is the first Pagan to serve as an officer on the Executive Committee.
Also in October 2007, Andras Corban-Arthen of the EarthSpirit Community in Massachusetts was elected as a member-at-large
to the Executive Committee. Source: Circle Magazine Issue 100 Winter 2007 Posted

are invited from PF members interested in volunteering for the National PF Intrafaith Manager or National

for membership of the Pagan Federation from 18 to 16. This change was proposed with the full knowledge and blessing of Minor
Arcana, an organisation which caters for Pagans from the ages of 12-18, and was carried with an overwhelming majority. ballot papers must be returned before 6th October 2007, this being when the votes will be counted. There are five vacancies
on the Pagan Federation Committee, as candidates have not come forward in previous years and Committee members have had to
be co-opted. However, this year we have five candidates for those posts. But just because the numbers match up, that doesn’t
mean that your votes aren’t important. Read the rest of this entry » Posted in Constitution, Membership | Comments Off In a recent edition of the Heaven and Earth Show, following coverage of the Goddess Event, Roy Hattersley
(ex-Labour MP, now Baron Hattersley) made some very disparaging remarks about paganism, which went unchallenged at the time
of broadcast. The following edition also made no reference to this major breach of etiquette on what purports to be a multi-faith
show. The Pagan Federation subsequently sent a letter of complaint to the BBC. Read the rest of this entry » Posted in Campaigns, Media | Comments Off This event is based around the traditional celebration of Lammas and will take place on the 3rd and 4th of

Museum of Witchraft: The Friends of the Boscastle Museum of Witchcraft is now a registered charity, effective
from 10th July. The actual registration process was apparently very easy and straightforward; it took about six weeks and
went very smoothly. This means that the “Friends” can now really dedicate itself to ensuring that the Museum
survives and thrives, and to raising funds to extend the Museum’s collection, library and archives, publishing, and
education and exhibition work. It also means that all membership fees and donations will be part of the Gift Aid scheme, which
means additional funds via the tax system. We hope to play a big role in helping the Museum grow and develop as a world class
resource on witchcraft and folk magic.
